Much has happened since my last post. In fact, let me check my last entry and see where I've left off.

Last time I wrote we talked about The Force's upcoming fundraisers. I talked about the gloomy weather we have had this Spring and I mentioned the fact that Lis and I should find out the sex of the baby by mid-May.

Well it's mid-May and we have found out the sex of the baby. If you haven't gotten the answer by the title of this entry then the answer is ...

It's a Girl!

I have to be honest. I was secretly wishing we had a little girl. I think it might be good for me, plus I've heard stories about 'Daddy's Little Girl' and the fact that we get to buy a bunch of new clothes is exciting too! It was a little strange when we walked into Osh Kosh and had to go to the right rather than the left (if you didn't catch that, girls are on the right). I ended up buying a cute little dress for Independence Day 2009.

Lukas is still thinking he's getting a little brother. We have to continue to correct him. He's happy about it and we had him buy a little stuffed animal for the baby. He talks to the baby through Lis' belly button and is excited for the baby to come. I do think he got a bit jealous the day that we found out the sex of the baby. Too much new baby overload, but in the end I think he's going to be a great big brother! I'm excited to see how the baby changes him too.

Yes, we have names. No I'm not sure if I'm ready to post them. Everyone is a critic and not everyone is going to like the name that you pick. I was totally happy with Lukas the minute I heard it, this one's name has been harder to come by, thankfully we have four more months to think. We'd like to name her something that has to do with an angel, miracle or blessing since we thought Lis wasn't going to be able to have another baby. It's all a work in progress.

We're excited for this new journey and new experience.

One final, quick note, Lis got her first real haircut since she was diagnosed with cancer. I'll post pictures soon, along with bragging about our fundraisers and what else has been happening in our lives.
